On magnetic phase transitions in CeBi

We demonstrate how the numerous observed phases of CeBi may be interpreted by the anisotropic Ising model with competing interlayer interactions. The relevant phase diagram is found and compared to the experimental data.

On peut interpréter les différentes phases magnétiques de CeBi à l'aide d'un modèle d'Ising anisotrope avec des interactions qui se contrarient entre les plans. Le diagramme de phase ainsi obtenu est comparé avec l'expérience.
